Your child(ren) are your world. Your child(ren) are our world. We love being here to provide the best opportunities, developing their independence and self-awareness. We are truly passionate in helping your child develop and grow into the little person they were destined to be.
We ensure that every single child is treated equally and offered the same opportunities, no matter how much we must adapt the environment.
You may have received a message recently regarding World Cerebral Palsy day on the 6TH October, we are taking particular interest in raising awareness for this event as we currently have a little person within our setting that has been diagnosed with CP (cerebral palsy).
This little person is one of the most resilient and strong individuals we have had the pleasure of teaching and we would love for her to be able to join in with every aspect of our learning, both indoors and outdoors. We have adapted our environment suitably and her family have been amazing in providing certain equipment however, we would love for her to be able to join us on walks out to town or to the annual trip to the farm without being singled out, having to be carried or not attending. She is so eager to join in and she tries and tries, sometimes pushing past exhaustion and as such, causing her muscles to become fatigued and sore.
We invite you to make this possible by making a small donation into a fund to buy her a new adapted pushchair that will grow with her during her journey here. It would also provide her family with opportunity to have days out together and enjoy in the little things that we all take for granted.
As you can imagine, this equipment can be rather costly, but it would provide them with the ability to join us comfortably on trips and provide a place of respite if the time comes during activities.
We would be extremely grateful if you could share this far and wide to not only increase our chances of meeting our target, but to spread awareness of Cerebral Palsy. Everybody deserves the same opportunity to achieve. One final note, we will continue to fundraise in multiple ways when the current climate eases and we return to “normal”.
