Chi siamo?

Feniculi è un'associazione no profit che si occupa di:

1. Recuperare materiale digitale di scarto nei paesi industrializzati

2. Riutilizzare questi scarti per aprire dei laboratori di informatica nei paesi sottosviluppati

3. Organizzare viaggi di volontariato per avvicinare questi due mondi

Attualmente stiamo collaborando con una ONG della Tanzania, la Kyosei Foundation , che si occupa di offrire istruzione gratuita a più di 100 bambini e ragazzi di Arusha, Tanzania.

 

Perché aderire a questa campagna di crowdfunding?

L’informatica è stata uno dei principali mezzi attraverso cui gente che aveva poco o niente è riuscita ad aprirsi nuove opportunità nel mondo (studio, viaggi, lavoro, ecc.). Basta un computer, una connessione a internet, la corrente elettrica e non c’è più un limite alle cose che si possono fare né alle opportunità che si possono creare.

Per noi possono sembrare delle cose scontate, ma non lo sono per tutti e in tutto il mondo… per questo tu puoi aiutarci ad offrire un’istruzione mirata sulle tecnologie nelle scuole dei paesi sottosviluppati.

 

Cosa andremo a fare con questi fondi?

Aiuteremo la fondazione ONG ad aprire il primo laboratorio informatico per aumentare l'offerta formativa e le conoscenze informatiche degli insegnanti e dei ragazzi della scuola che sono attualmente molto carenti.

Who we are?
Feniculi is a non-profit association that deals with:
1. Recovering digital waste material into industrialized countries
2. Reuse the waste material in order to open computer laboratories into underprivileged countries
3. Arranging volunteering trips with the aim to get the two worlds closer
We are currently collaborating with a Tanzanian NGO, the Kyosei Foundation, which deals with offering free education up to 100 children and teenagers in Arusha, Tanzania.


Why join this crowdfunding campaign?
Information technology has been one of the main tools by which people who had little or nothing succeed to open up new opportunities in the world (study, travel, work, etc.).
It suffices a computer, an internet connection, power electricity and there is no longer a limit to the things that can be done or to the opportunities that can be created.
For us they may seem like things taken for granted, but they are not for everyone and everywhere... this is why you can help us offering a focused education on technologies into schools of the underprivileged countries: schools, teachers, students and all community’s members.

What will we do with these funds?
We will help the NGO foundation to open the first computer lab with the aim to increase the training offer and computer knowledge of the teachers and the students which are currently very deficient.
