Hello friends of Eggo.

Jeremy Sole here, starting this fundraiser to help my cousin Bridget's (and my niece and nephews') dog Eggo, after he was attacked on Christmas day. Eggo has been in multiple surgeries in 3 different animal hospitals and after getting test after test, x-rays, meds, multiple surgeries (including steel rods in his spine), catheters, breathing and eating tubes, stitches and everything else, HE PULLED THROUGH AND IS SLOWLY RECOVERING! He still has little movement in 3 of his legs, but that's coming back too! Initially they said "at this point, euthanasia is an option", but they just couldn't give up on him and we're so glad they didn't.

All tubes are out and they let us bring him home but it will be months of constant monitoring. He has started to be able to pee naturally but if he doesn't start being able to poop on his own we have to keep bringing him back to the vet for the catheter regularly. Situation ongoing.

As you could imagine, all the medical bills are crazy (over $23k) and we're EXTREMELY GRATEFUL for anyone else out there who sees their pets as equal parts of their family, and is willing to chip in whatever they can to help us all deal with this. THANKS SO MUCH!
