HELP US SO WE CAN KEEP HELPING YOU

Hello, Russ Kane here. In January 2018, over a cup of tea in a greasy spoon in Covent Garden, London, I shook hands with Howard Jameson & we formed Men's Radio Station - a station 100% dedicated to mental health & well-being. A few days earlier, I'd been reviewing the newspapers for the BBC & was shocked to discover, from the latest headline statistics, that 80% of suicides in the UK were men, 20% women. The main cause was that 'Men Don't Talk'. I decided to act immediately & Men's Radio Station was born. I had no idea if it would work or last even a few months. I had no notion of what we'd just created in the little cafe! The reaction has been overwhelming in the UK, and to my utter delight, right across the world. Also, I was thrilled that 50% of our global audience is women. Result! The aim was simple - to remove the stigma surrounding mental health & to provide a non-judgemental platform for people to talk openly. Since then we have produced thousands of shows, creating an archive of practical help from doctors, experts, counsellors, psychiatrists, patients, surgeons, and, most of all, from YOU, our amazing loyal audience. We broadcast 24/7, across dozens of platforms and the interaction is phenomenal & the testimonials heartwarming & often very emotional. But I want more! I want more people to be able to join in across the globe to join our journey together - but to do that, we need to raise more awareness. And that, quite simply. costs money. There, I've used the M-word! We need dedicated Social Media Experts to help us spread the word. It's that simple...and that complicated! So, I'm asking for a small donation (unless you're reading this, Elon, in which case, knock yourself out!). We need more sponsorship for programmes, especially my Daily Show three times a week, listened to by over 100,000 people. For total transparency please know this - Men's Radio Station is a CIC organisation - we have never, ever, taken a single penny out of the bank except to pay our two staff members. Not a cent. We know you love the shows - now could you find it in your hearts - no, scrap that - find it in your wallets to help us grow to where we can help, advise & entertain even more people every single day.
