We are heartbroken to share the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved Harjot Kaur, just 21 years old, who left us on 16th September 2025.

Her unexpected death has left everyone in deep shock and sorrow. The cause of death is still unknown. She passed away before paramedics could arrive, and while a cardiac arrest has been suggested as a possible cause, nothing can be confirmed until the autopsy report is complete.

Harjot had been living in Australia on a temporary visa for the past 1 year and 8 months. Just 11 months ago, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, who is currently in India under the care of her grandmother.

Her parents and younger brother are in India, devastated beyond words. Her mother has been unconscious since receiving the news of Harjot’s passing, unable to bear the weight of this unimaginable loss.

The cost of repatriation is extremely high, and unfortunately, I am not in a strong financial position—especially now, while I am also caring for my infant daughter, who has lost her mother before even learning to say the word “Maa.”
