Help Save A Small Business Community - The Fountainhead Network Coworking & Media Space

Our Story

Hi, I'm Erin, proudly co-founding a family-run partnership The Fountainhead Network Coworking & Media Space with my husband Mike and my mom Roberta. Four years ago in Port Coquitlam, our dream became a reality: a vibrant space fostering small businesses and independent media. We envisioned a cost-effective haven for entrepreneurs and creators, a hub where collaboration and innovation thrived.

But our journey, beginning just as the pandemic hit, faced unforeseen challenges. COVID restrictions hit us hard, halting our growth and community gatherings - the essence of our business. Despite hardships, including exhausting our savings, selling our family home, and enduring a break-in, our spirit never wavered. We pivoted, supporting our community with mental health resources and over $100,000 in complementary podcast production services through our PoCommunity Podcast.

The Crossroads

Today, we stand at a critical juncture. Skyrocketing operating costs and a looming lease renewal with nearly doubled rent as of January 31, 2024 threaten our existence. We're a passion-driven venture, and these rising costs are beyond our reach.

Our Appeal

We've been through a lot at The Fountainhead Network, but each challenge only made us stronger. Our Plan and Budget

New Home:

We're seeking a space between 3,500 and 7,000 square feet in the Tri-Cities area.

Budget Breakdown:

Total Goal: $100,000

If we are unable to relocate, all funds will be used for closing costs, our obligations to our current landlord, and toward repayment of CEBA and other loans used to finance the space.
