Help Us Regrow a Native Forest in Northern Morocco

We are a family-led and community-driven collective working to regenerate 1.7 hectares of degraded land near a Lake in northern Morocco. Our goal is simple yet urgent: bring life back to the soil, create a resilient forest, and make space for biodiversity, people, and future generations.

This is not a business. It’s not a resort. This is a living laboratory for ecological repair.

We are combining two powerful approaches. The Miyawaki Method helps us restore dense, multi-layered belts of native forest that grow fast and support rich biodiversity. Syntropic Agroforestry allows us to grow fruit trees and edible plants in harmony with nature, using minimal water, no chemicals, and natural succession.

Our site includes dry land, a wet zone near the lake, and a microclimate ideal for experimentation. We are designing the landscape to attract birds, frogs, pollinators, and wildlife. We are building small clay homes with traditional techniques, and setting up greywater systems filtered by plants.

We plant trees not just for shade or food, but for soil regeneration, carbon capture, and ecological memory. Every species is chosen for its role in the ecosystem: pioneers, nitrogen fixers, fruit bearers, slow giants, or shade givers.

We work with local villagers, invite international volunteers, and rely on hand tools, sun, and cooperation.

Your donation will help us buy native trees, shrubs, and cover plants. It will support soil preparation including biochar, mulch, and compost. It will help us build water retention systems, pay local labor and craftspeople, and feed and shelter volunteers for our planting phase in October–November 2025.

This is a forest for life, not for profit.

Together, we can make the desert green again. Not with concrete. With roots.
