Help Us Honor Braxton's Brave Journey

My brother, Braxton, was born on April 26, 2014 - the youngest of five children. He was a vibrant, brave boy who fought a hard battle with an ultra-rare genetic mutation.

He loved lights, sirens, motorcycles, music, and Mickey Mouse. He especially loved the parades that my mom planned with the community involving many motorcycle, car, and jeep clubs.

He fought with a fierce love of life and family - and we all fought for him with that same fierceness. Caretaking was a family affair, and we will all cherish the many moments of crying and laughing together while caring for him. My mom and brother, Davon, were Braxton's primary caretakers. They dedicated the last four years to make sure Braxton was happy, safe, and always felt loved. My brother Davon even became a certified caretaker to make sure he gave Braxton the best care possible. I may be the oldest, but I will always look up to him for everything that he has done for the family.

On December 18, 2024, Braxton won his long battle and was rewarded by getting to run into the arms of Jesus while surrounded by family and friends. We are starting this GoFundMe to help give Braxton the final "ride" he deserves, and to help my mom and brothers during the grievance process. Thank you. #bravelikebraxton
