Fallon Jennifer is our extra Spicy nuggie!!! She has so much personality in her little body. She has this face she does with her eyebrows that just cracks up anybody. She loves to color and she loves when her brothers and sisters are home. Her favorite movies are The Nightmare Before Christmas, and The Grinch with Jim Carrey. For a dash of flavor she enjoys Hocus Pocus and Paw Patrol lol!! Don’t ask they are her choices!! She loves makeup and nail polish. Her favorite food is Nutella, but she loves any food that has a lot of flavor Mexican and Italian are tied for first!! All of her drs have always said that she has the strangest palate they’ve ever seen in a baby. Well I guess she’s 2 now she’s not a baby anymore, but she my baby. She is my 6th baby. Please help us be able to help her.

Fallon came into this world 1/7/2022 at 4lbs 11oz. On Wednesday 4-13-2022 Fallon was showing early signs of kidney failure. We were admitted for the first time to the hospital where she received infusions to break down her potassium because it was way to high, and a shot to replace the hormone epogen which is in the kidneys that help produce red blood cells. We were released Friday 4-15-2022 with a game plan and care instructions for Miss Fallon. We managed everything with medication until after her first birthday and we got the news that she was end stage renal failure.

January 2023 she had surgery to put in a Peritoneal dialysis catheter in her abdomen so that we could dialyze her at home every night for 10 hrs while she slept. When we ran a practice test of the catheter 6 weeks after placement it failed. We went back in to surgery March 2024 for a catheter revision and by April 22 2023 she had her first home dialysis treatment. She has been admitted for infection and additional surgeries. She had a gtube surgery in September in the hopes that it would provide supplemental feedings and she would gain weight as that was the only reason we were unable to transplant. That didn’t work bc she would throw up her nightly tube feeds. We use her gtube for push feeds and all her meds though!! That’s a bonus.

We finally started transplant evals April 1st 2024 and today April 22nd 2024 I got the call that she has been approved for transplant!!! She has a ct scan coming up May 6th and then she will be listed for transplant!! I will be applying to be her donor but while I get tested if an amazing kidney comes along from someone else we will gladly take it!!

With that being said we do have other children and dad and I will be out of work for at least 2 weeks depending on weather or not I donate it could be longer but it will be both of us out of work for 2 weeks and then I will be out of work completely for at least 2 months while she recovers and she cannot be out and about in the world. With that being said bills don’t stop just because we want them too. It’s weird to ask for help but we have a home and a car and other children who need things. We will have copays and medications and all sorts of things that will be overwhelming at first. Please help us if you can. Every little bit helps. Most of all send prayers for Fallon and whoever her donor is wherever they are. If your unable to donate please share to as many people as you can
