Help us GIVE to Thailand and Laos

Hello world! Our names are Dylan Carson and Nica Bisel, and we are two stoked GIVE volunteers who will be traveling to Thailand and Laos for a month this summer to promote English education, eco-friendly infrastructure, and wildlife conservation. GIVE, also known as Growth International Volunteer Excursions, is an amazing non-profit organization that connects individuals passionate about helping others with communities in need around the world. For us, this means immersing ourselves in the rural mountain villages of Muang Khong and Sop Chem in Thailand and Laos, respectively, to spearhead efforts in improving literacy, sponsoring sustainable agriculture and building, and supporting elephant and Asiatic black bear conservation.
Unfortunately, goals this big come with a big price tag – around $12,000 for the two of us, which you can imagine is quite the expense for two recent college graduates! However, we believe the opportunity to impact the world in a positive way is priceless, so we want to GIVE our final summer to Southeast Asia before Dylan begins his career in business and Nica begins medical school in the fall. We humbly ask for any donations, prayers, and good vibes that will help us help individuals in Thailand and Laos. Any donations are considered “active” donations, meaning the money will directly be funding the supplies, goods, and other resources necessary for our projects to succeed. We are deeply passionate about service to humankind, and we cannot wait to embark on the journey of a lifetime together with your help!
