In Loving Memory of Lydia

On November 15, 2025, our family experienced an unimaginable and sudden loss with the unexpected passing of our beloved sister, aunt, and friend Lydia. Her life touched so many people. Lydia was known for her kindness, laughter, and a heart that gave more than it ever asked for. Her energy was truly contagious—the kind of light that everyone felt the moment she entered a room. Lydia was compassionate, fearless, unapologetically herself, and thoughtful in ways that made people feel deeply cared for. She loved boldly, cared deeply, and lived with a strength and tenacity that inspired everyone around her. She had a way of leaving lasting imprints on hearts, long after the moment had passed. Lydia had a rare gift for making others feel seen, safe, and loved. To know her was to be touched by her courage, authenticity, and radiant spirit. Losing her so suddenly has left us heartbroken and unprepared.

Lydia had been sick with a cold and had seemingly recovered, but just a few days later while at work she suffered a terrible headache, and although she was brought to the hospital almost immediately, things escalated quickly. She became unresponsive and spent the next 10 days in the ICU fighting for her life. Much to the shock of her loved ones, Lydia ultimately lost her battle to Meningitis. She was surrounded by family and friends as she peacefully left this Earth.

As we navigate this difficult time, we are trying to give Lydia the beautiful memorial she deserves — one that honors her life, her love, and the impact she had on all of us. Lydia always felt an undeniable connection to Hawaii. It was a place that brought her peace, joy, and a sense of home. One of her wishes was to be laid to rest there, and we are committed to honoring that wish. Unfortunately, the cost of funeral services is a heavier burden than we are prepared for.

We are humbly requesting the support of friends, family, anyone who knew and loved Lydia, or is touched by her story. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward funeral expenses, including the service, laying her in her final resting place, and any remaining costs.
