Thank you for checking out our gofundme for Riverside LGBTQ+ Pride! We are nearly done with the incorporation process, which includes the paperwork for filing for non-profit status, opening our corporate accounts, and paying for a laundry list extra expenses.
These extra expenses include keeping the website and email running, ads to grow our membership, and so much more that I did not expect before we began this adventure. It's important, though, so we will press on!
These funds will also go towards our first ever Pride event! It won't be big this first time, but it will be fun.
As we are not yet classified as a non-profit (the application for that costs $275!), we aren't able to solicit donations from members. This is a helpful alternative to get us going.
The ultimate goal is to support, uplift, and celebrate our LGBTQ families! Riverside, CA is the new pride on the block. We are excited to take off! Please help us out so that we can fulfill this important goal.
