hi, my name is kayleigh and i am trying to raise funds for our family to create memories while we still can. On December 30th 2025 my partner Pete was given the devastating news that his brain tumor is back after 17 years of good health, only this time it is worse.

To give you a small back story 17 years ago after having a seizure the doctors found a grade 3 right frontal lobe anaplastic astrocytoma. He was given major brain surgery followed by intensive radiotherapy. After the fight of his life he was given a survival rate of 5 years. He surpassed that by an extra 12 year. He was incredibly lucky.

I met Pete just over 3 years ago and he changed my life, filled it with love and calmness. He stepped up for my son (7), he gave me another son (2). Our family was complete. I can honestly say I have never met any one like him. Everyone that meets him instantly loves him. I could not think of a more undeserving person to have to go through this. While our family is still so young aswell. None of this feels fair, not that cancer ever is. I just want him to be able to live while he is still alive.

Then in December 2025 he started getting headaches again, after a scan it revealed the cancer was back and worse than ever, it is bigger and has progressed into grade 4. Alot of treatments are not available for him, it is inoperable, radiotherapy can not be done again. Leaving us with only the option of chemotherapy, even with this they can only give us around a year. We are devastated.

Pete has had to go on the sick with his job, leaving him with only ssp coming in. He has applied for benefits but as we all know that takes time. We just want to create memories while we can. Day trips to the zoo, weekends away to the seaside. Anything we can. Unfortunatly this is not some thing we can afford much of. This is where i am asking for your help, i know times are hard everywhere but your generosity could help us more than i could ever explain.
