In Loving Memory of Gumaro Ollarzabal

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father and incredible grandfather, Gumaro Ollarzabal, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday morning. Gumaro was a diabetic and fought bravely for many years with diabetes. More recently, he began undergoing dialysis, continuing to face every challenge with strength, faith, and determination. While his passing was unexpected, we find comfort knowing he did not suffer and is now resting in the arms of the Lord.

Gumaro was a deeply spiritual Christian man who lived his life guided by faith, love, and strong values. Although he could seem intimidating at first, he had the sweetest heart. He was always talking about guidance, doing the right thing, and encouraging all of us to live with integrity and purpose.

One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren. Every single day, without fail, he waited for them and walked them home from school. That daily act of love reflects exactly who he was: devoted, consistent, selfless, and full of unconditional love.

We have created this GoFundMe to help our family with the unexpected funeral and memorial expenses so we can give Gumaro the goodbye he truly deserves. Any donation, share, or prayer is deeply appreciated and will forever be held in our hearts.
