We’re raising money to help the Salvation Army feed people in this time of need. With Covid-19 putting a strain on people’s food budgets, the Tryon Civitan Club is asking you to donate to our GoFundMe Campaign with all donations going directly to the Salvation Army in New Bern, NC.
For 10 years, the Tryon Civitan Club has held its annual Food Drive for the Salvation Army. In that time we’ve collected thousands of pounds of food. This year, because of Covid-19, we’re holding this campaign instead and we need your help!
The Salvation Army office in New Bern provides food for anywhere from 15 to 30 families each week.
Your donation helps the Salvation Army serve the most vulnerable in our community. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated!
The Tryon Civitan Club was founded in 1982 and for the past 38 years has been actively helping people in need in our community. In addition to the Salvation Army, Tryon Civitans also support Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, Twin Rivers YMCA, Coastal Women’s Shelter, Boys and Girls Homes of NC and several other worthy non-profit organizations.
