Friends - we need your help. Our friends who I have mentioned before need us! This loving couple are who took in 5 kids to love on as their own in addition to their own biological children. They now have guardianship of the 4 brothers as the parents signed over their rights. The little girl has a different Dad who lives in Missouri so this last Thursday they headed to court to get guardianship of this little almost 3 year old. When they got there, they were shocked to hear that the state is recommending she go live with her “biological father” as he now wants her and he has the rights. He had been contacted numerous times in the last 3 years and never showed any interest in pursuing a relationship with the little girl. Our friends are devastated and heartbroken. She should not be sent away from the mother and father (our friends) who have now raised her and loved her since she was 3 months old. They want to fight for her to stay with the only family she has ever known, to stay with her 4 brothers and to stay with the only Mom and Dad she has ever known. They need a good aggressive lawyer and fast. Please pm if you would like to help donate to help them towards the expense of a good lawyer. I know I couldn’t imagine sending my child off to a strange state with a stranger who she has never met, regardless of the DNA. ❤️
