Please help me to find my missing Son Daniel Mizzi

Hi my name is Karran and on the 8th December my son Daniel Mizzi went missing after catching a train from Plymouth to St Erth. We have had no contact from him, his phone has been unresponsive from 6.40 p.m that evening. The last sighting of him via CCTV was on Porthmeor Hill St Ives that day.

He is 35 years old and comes from a loving family.

As a mum I am frantic with worry and Christmas was so tough as we spend Christmas together as a family. We want to do everything and anything to find him or find out what has happened to him.

This is part of an ongoing police investigation but despite a vast and thorough search of the area there is nothing.

To keep the search going and to keep Daniel on the forefront of people's mind my family need a little help. My lad is not just a picture on a missing poster he is a warm caring person. He is a brother, a grandson and a friend

Any money raised is to help towards advertising, appeals, travel, posters and flyers.

It would also go towards keeping his house he shares with his brother in his name for him until we have more information.Jake is responsible for all the bills now. Money will help towards the rent.

I have no idea what has happened to my son and I never for the one moment thought that that I still would have no news.

He shares a house with his brother and they split rent and bills equally. Now his brother has to cover it all by himself. We are helping as much we can but it is tough.

I thought long and hard about doing this appeal as we are a private family and we have always sorted any problems in life ourselves.

All his belongings are still in his home and I want him to have his home to come back to.

I want my son home so much it hurts. We are in this land of limbo which feels like a living nightmare. I would not wish this on any family.

Daniel is quiet, introverted but not with the people he loved

I hate to think of him lonely, scared and without money.

If you can spare anything please do. I know times are tough for everyone right now. As a mum I would do anything for my son's, which is why I have swallowed my pride and done this
