Hello everyone my name is Timmy & here is my story. Back in 2015 I went to the emergency room because of bad headaches and was told that I have a brain abscess. Being young and “not smart” I decided to ignore it and hope it just went away. Fast forward to now I started getting worse and worse headaches. My immediate family and my church family all told me I needed to go to the doctor and get this taken care of. I realized that I’m not getting any younger and decided to make a doctors appointment. My Dr had done a CT scan and seen that I did in fact have a Brain Abcsess. For the past couple of months I have been on antibiotics in hopes to shrink and make the Abcsess disappear for good. A month and a half ago I went in for another CT scan and found out the abscess did in fact get smaller. Which was a great relief. Fast forward to last Monday I had another CT scan performed and this morning I was told that it has grown bigger instead of shrinking more. My doctor told me she will put in a referral to a neurosurgeon to have surgery to remove it which is a craniotomy, where they remove a part of the skull to expose the brain to remove it. My doctor told me that she does not want me working because any head injury could erupt it. She told me to cut out all stress in my life until we have this completed which is way easier said than done. The reason I have made this FundMe is to help pay for this procedure that I’m terrified of and to help me get by financially. Just because I have this happening to me doesn’t mean the world stops for me and bills keep piling up. I am not the type of person to ask for help and will suffer before I ask anyone but it seems like this is the only way to help get me back to normal health. By all means if you cannot help then simply keeping me in your prayers would be greatly appreciated.
