Support After Devastating Fire for Tiffany Lahey
Tiffany Lahey is a 25 year old aspiring farmer and child care worker . She arrived home late Saturday night to see her apartment in a blaze. Everything was lost including but not limited to clothing, instruments, camping gear, all of the food prep from her garden and stocked pantry. Her savings form working all Summer and Fall also burnt up.The most devastating aspect being that Tiffany's cat, Filo, perished in the fire. Nothing can replace this loss and only time will heal the pain of losing her companion kitty :(
Tiffany has been travelling around British Columbia for a couple of years now, but kept returning to the community of Crawford Bay, BC, as she feels drawn to it's enchanted spirit, amazing natural setting of mountains and lake, and the tight knit, caring community. Tiffany had been saving up to purchase land to build herself a home and farm. She noticed that there isn't any childcare in the small but thriving community, and as she is finishing her ECE Diploma, she plans to open a Nature Daycare Centre here in the next few years.
With no insurance, the money raised will help Tiffany to replace essentials and help her be able to stick out the winter in this community she has been happy to permanently call home.
