Help the Weitsz Family

This family was an incredible support to me during my time in a South Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Recently they have fallen on hard times. Diane left for a teaching job in China which offered higher pay and better benefits but it did not pan out. Since returning to South Africa she has been unable to secure new work. They were unexpectedly informed by their landlord last week that they had to be out of their house by the end of December  because he wanted to rent the house to someone else. They had to spend what little salary they had left on a deposit and first months rent for a new place. Due to the little time they had to find a new place to stay, they were unable to find a place that would accept pets and this pet loving family is now facing the horrible decision of placing their pets in an animal shelter. On top of all that, Christmas is around the corner and they are left without enough money for food and other necessities much less anything to celebrate a humble Christmas.
