CALLING ALL ANGELS!
My cousin Ashley Tripp and her husband Joshua are in need of financial support due to a catastrophic event. Anyone who knows them are aware of the fact that they welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Samuel, several months ago. Following his birth they had to rise to the challenge of caring for a child with special needs. Baby Samuel was diagnosed with Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia and requires around the clock care due to his g-tube, severe bradycardia and desat events, and high aspiration risk. Ashley has been waiting for approval for an in home nurse as their little family has recently relocated far from any immediate family in Harrison to Marion Arkansas where Ashley took a new job. Joshua was going to be at home with Samuel and be his primary caregiver while they waited for approval for in home nursing care.
However, tragedy struck last night when Josh fell from the second floor of their shop and landed flat on his back. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Memphis TN where fractures were found in his T8 & T9 vertebrae. He also had smaller fractures of the T2, T3, and T4 vertebrae.
He underwent major surgery today to remove the bone fragments that were pressing on his spinal chord and he had
rods and screws placed to stabilize his spinal column. Due to this tragic accident their little family will need help recovering from the mounting medical bills and the expense of in home nursing care that Samuel will continue to need while Joshua is bedbound during recovery.
Any financial help and prayers are much appreciated during this difficult time.
