Help the stray dogs of Lembongan live a happy&safe life❤️

Dear animal lovers,

my name is Puspa and I live on this beautiful island named Nusa Lembongan Bali in Indonesia, home to many beloved dogs. I have 20 dogs that i have rescued since 2020 and they all stay with me, I also have 20 strays to feed everyday from my own pocket. These numbers are slowly increasing due to more and more dogs cruelty happened on this beautiful island of Bali. We desperately need a safe space for them, a dog sanctuary ❤️

We are reaching out to ask your support during this challenging time. Unfortunately, we will soon be evicted from our current home as tourists and neighbors complain about my dogs barking.

The house has been severely damaged from the storm, roof that is on the verge of collapse. Recently strong winds and heavy rain caused parts of the walls and fence to completely fall. On top of this, I’ve been dealing with harassment from our neighbors, countless threats, they are throwing rocks to our house broke our window as well, making it even harder to live in peace.

We’ve found new place where we can finally have some peace away from our neighbors and other stress. Somewhere far from human population, where dogs can roam free and happily enjoy their life after the nightmare that they had been through from the animal’s abusers.

This new location will not only provide a safe space for us, but also to help even more animals in need.

As a dog owner and dog lover, I’ve seen firsthand the number of dogs that need homes, care and protection.

We’ve found a piece of land that is suitable for this cause, and with your help, we can transform it into a place that is safe for the dogs, cats or other animals, where they can be nurture with love, and we also help to rehome those animals, so they can have better life ❤️

2. ⁠doggy day care, a trusted place for locals or visitors alike to leave their dogs or cats while they’re away.

3. ⁠medications such as worms and ticks tablets, vaccinations and to neuter dogs or cats, controlling the population.

We met Puspa during a cooking class on Nusa Lembongan where we had the pleasure of having her and all the dogs’ undivided attention. We cooked and talked until deep in the night and it was really time to sleep. If you know me a little bit, we instantly shared our love for dogs. We’ve met several times during our stay on Nusa Lembongan, she showed us the island while making several stops to feed all the stray dogs. We even had a lovely home cooked meal at her house where we saw what a beautiful human being she is and all the dogs she takes care of. All the money that she earns with the cooking classes goes to food and medicine for the dogs. She told us about her dream to set up a sanctuary for the dogs away from her neighbors who are sometimes trying to poison the dogs because they are barking too much. She just wants a piece of land for the dogs away from people who may harm them. She is truly an angel so please help her build this safe and peaceful place for her and the dogs she loves the most.
