Help the Stept Family Rebuild their Lives AfterTragic Fire
Donación protegida
Hello. We are Jim and Marlene Marcus from Pittsburgh, PA. Our sister-in law, Dawn Stept, her husband, Stephen Stept, son, Matthew Marcus, granddaughter, Hannah Marcus and precious dog, Chloe, experienced a massive, catastrophic house fire on October 19, 2024, and lost everything but the clothes they were wearing when they escaped. All that remains of their lives together in their joyous, loving home is ashes and rubble. Their car, parked in their garage, sits among the the ruins, damaged beyond repair. Matthew initially tried to put out the fire, incurring second degree burns on his hand, and Chloe endured the same on her paw. All is gone, including the photographs and memorabilia going back generations. Stephen, a professional writer, has lost every bit of work he has accomplished during the course of his career. They are seniors and had planned on this being their last home. But this family remains focused on their gratitude for being alive and safe and for all the people who have been so generous with their time, prayers and support. It will take time and strength to attain a normal life, but they are determined to move forward. Please help with any contribution you can make that can help them rebuild their lives. Thank you on their behalf.
