On the night of September 6, 2020, Hector, his wife, and two children lost all of their belongings in an apartment fire. The second floor apartment above them collapsed, creating devastating and unsalvageable conditions. Thankfully they were not injured; they had gone out for ice cream that night but came home to find out they had lost everything except for the clothes on their back. They did not have renter's insurance. 

Hector is a beloved employee of Abma's Farm Market who comes to work every day with a big smile and a kind heart. We have created this fundraiser for Hector, his wife Jhoely,  and his two children Jaleen (10) and Hector Jr. (7) to help ease the financial load of finding a new apartment and buying new clothes, furniture, household items, groceries, and educational tools for the new visual learning school year.
