Help the Pickett's Battle Guava (Brain Tumor)

Hi, my name is Jamie Franks and I'm creating this fundraiser for some very close friends Jeremy and Melissa Pickett as well as their family.

On December 8th their world was completely rocked when they got the news that no parent wants to hear. Their 13-year-old daughter Livia had a brain tumor. Livi has a long road ahead of her, to help make light of things a doctor encouraged her to name the tumor something she doesn't like, so she chose Guava. On December 22nd Livia underwent a 14-hour surgery to remove the tumor. The Drs are hopeful that they removed all of the tumor and are now awaiting the results of an MRI and a biopsy for the next steps. The doctors believe it to be a certain type of tumor that can recur which is why they went more aggressive on this surgery than originally planned. So even if they got it "all" it seems as if she may still need radiation and/or chemo. Livia is currently still in ICU until at least Jan 3rd.

This fundraiser is to help Livia and the Picketts get through the toughest fight of their life. They don't have any idea how much the medical bills are going to be, but hopefully, this will at least provide some kind of stability on their monthly financials so they can focus their time and energy on the battle that Livia is going through.
