Help the people in Ivory Coast affected by Covid19

My name is Katy Ballo, I am a Junior at Skidmore College. I was born and raised in the Ivory Coast and moved to New York City seven years ago. We are all living in a time of uncertainty. COVID-19 has affected the lives of many of us directly and indirectly. Our country has been heavily affected by this pandemic. It has rendered many of our families and friends to leading to socio-economic vulnerabilities like food insecurity, joblessness, lack of access to protective gear like masks to protect themselves, and the ability to afford a normal living. As a person from this community, I am standing up for my people. I am raising funds to help people get the necessary kits to protect themselves and be able to access food in this time of crisis. Many people have lost their source of food because organizations and religious places where they used to get food have closed due to the pandemic. Any amount will be appreciated because it will be used to pay for food and COVID prevention kits for underprivileged people. With your donation, we can create an impact. A positive impact to help the people of rural area in the Ivory Coast (Anyama and Abobo)  to survive this pandemic!
