My name is Kim de Laroque, I am the aunt of Ryland's girlfriend Madison. I created this fundraiser to raise funds for Ryland and Emmett Nowell. As per Ryland and Emmett's request, I will be depositing all funds into the account of their choosing, and all funds received will go directly to Ryland and Emmett.

On May 13, the out of control wildfire in Lac Du Bonnet tragically claimed the lives of Ryland, Emmett and TC's parents, Sue and Richard Nowell. The fire spread rapidly, trapping them within the family property. Emmett and Madison were also at home at the time of the fire but managed to escape. As a result Emmett sustained burns for which he is being treated.

Ryland and Emmett who live at home are now without parents, a family home and everything within their family home, which was also taken by the fire. Ryland and Emmett's brother TC, has also suffered tremendously through this tragic event, and is anxious to get home and reunite with his brothers, as he lives out of province. As a result of this devastating fire, the brothers have lost everything. These funds will directly help Emmett and Ryland with immediate expenses, getting essentials such as clothing and travel expenses to and from doctors appointments as a result of the fire.

Any in-person donations can be dropped off Warren Tire at 227 MacDonald Ave, Warren, MB, or Lake Life Powersports at 3997 MB-317 Lac Du Bonnet, MB

I want to thank everyone who has donated to the fundraiser, and everyone who has dropped off clothing, food, and supplies for the boys. Thank you to everyone from Lac Du Bonnet, Warren, all of Manitoba, and across Canada who have reached out in support of the boys.
