Help the needy dogs

Hi, my name is Debi.

myself and my daughter are doing the last 100km of the Camino de Santiago. We will be starting on Sunday 11th May and finishing 16th May all been well.

I am hoping to raise money for Axarquia Animal Rescue which is a voluntary run charity in Spain rescuing abandoned or abused dogs.

The picture is of Pedro who was my first foster dog. He was in a bad way when he was found but with lots of loving care and vet bills he came a long way and was adopted by a lovely lady in Spain. Please help me help these dogs that without this charity would not survive. Thank you!

Day 1

we made it! From Vigo to arcade 23km in 5.5 hours!

Day 2

12km walk today to Pontevedra in pouring rain, very wet and very slippery.

Day 3 Rest day

22km from pontevedra to caldas de reis

great weather and feeling good!

Day 5

19km from caldas de reis to padron

great weather and really lovely town

Day 6

We did it! 27km aching feet but such a great feeling. Thank you for all who have donated so far!

Today we picked up our certificates!
