Millis Special Olympics Fundraiser

Hi everyone! My name is Marissa Melia I'm a senior at Millis High School. For my senior project l, I am going to be planning and hosting a Special Olympics unified soccer game at my school! Every year all of the students in our special education program participate in the annual five-town school day games hosted by the Special Olympics of Massachusetts. They look forward to this event all year and love being involved. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, this event will not be going on this year. So I wanted to recreate something just as special for our Millis athletes to participate in. The event is going to take place on April 16th on the Millis High School football field. There will be music, awards and of course the soccer game itself. The support from the Millis community would mean so much to all of the athletes participating. All of the donations would go towards decorations, customized t-shirts, and everything else that contributed to making this event as close to the real one as possible. I am trying to do whatever I can to make this day special and we would all be extremely grateful for any donations to help make this day amazing!
