Help the Maida Vale Hero start again

Donation protected
On Monday, January 24 at 930 am, Yasmin Chkaifi aged 43, died after being brutally stabbed by her ex-partner on the streets of Maida Vale in West London. Abraham, a brave citizen, witnessed the attack and attempted to save Yasmin's life by driving his car into the attacker in order to end the attackers' frenzied assault.

Yasmin tragically and as a result of the knife wounds inflicted upon her died at the scene leaving two children now orphaned behind.

The attacker himself succumbed to the injuries he sustained when struck by Abrahams vehicle and despite Abrahams best efforts to save him, he too died at the scene.

Shockingly, in spite of eyewitnesses declaring Abraham to be a selfless hero, Abraham was arrested under suspicion of murder for his part in the death of the knife-wielding murderer.

After a successful campaign by Abrahams solicitors (Mr Akunjee - Twitter @mohammedakunjee) and an online petition demanding Abrahams release from arrest which garnered 75000 signatures (Cindy Chan), the Met police finally accepted that they would be dropping all charges against Abraham.

Even though the charges have been dropped by the MET Police, there’s justice yet to be served. This is why we are raising money to help support Abraham and Yasmin’s family.

Please help us raise funds so that Abraham can rebuild his life following the traumatic experience he has had. His vehicle will remain with the police whilst their investigation continues, the least we can do for this hero is replace for him the items lost in his heroic encounter. We thus call upon all good citizens to help raise money so that Abraham can be gifted a new car, and mobile phone.

In this tragedy the surviving children of Yasmin should not be forgotten, we thus wish to split any funds raised equally between Abraham and Yasmin’s children.

We are aware that the family of Yasmin are in contact with Abrahams solicitors, we intend to pass any funds raised to Abrahams solicitor ( Mr Akunjee of Waterfords Solicitors) so that he may organise the proper transmission of the funds to the two parties.
