Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, on behalf of my mother and father Lonnie Hill Sr. and Henrietta Harris Hill

I am reaching out to you during one of the most challenging times in our lives. This is a very difficult thing to do as my mother and father are very private people. However on Friday, December 20th, our family home originally the home of my grandmother and grandfather Gladys and Isiah Hill, was tragically destroyed in a fire. Thankfully, we are all safe, but we lost everything we hold dear—our ancestral home, our belongings, and our cherished memories.

The fire occurred unexpectedly, and despite the quick response of the firefighters, our house was engulfed in flames in mere minutes. We are still in shock and processing the loss, but we know we must focus on what comes next: rebuilding our lives.

As we navigate this difficult journey, we are asking for your support. We need to raise funds to help cover the costs of rebuilding our home and replacing essential items that were lost in the fire. This includes:

- Rebuilding our house

- Furniture and appliances

- Clothing and personal items

- Basic necessities and living expenses during this transition
