Help the Haberman Family take care of Oakley

Hey there, my name is Brenna, my sister is Bailey Haberman. Bailey and her husband Zach have a sweet 4 year old, Bellamy, and the most precious baby girl Oakley who just turned 1 year old on November 17th.

On Thanksgiving day, our sweet Oakley fell, like kids do all the time, but unfortunately hit her head on a metal planter, and part of it went into the back of her neck. A couple of my brother in laws family were there to give her CPR, while an ambulance was called. The ambulance got there and rushed this sweet girl to the hospital. Once she was stable, they transferred her to Children's Hospital with flight for life, and Zach and Bailey have been there with her ever since.

We don't know a lot yet, and are waiting but we do know is that she has a traumatic brain injury, which can mean a lot of scary things. Oakley is getting amazing, around the clock care from the staff at the hospital, and amazing love and support from friends and family. Our sweet girl has yet to wake up, and MRI results today have shown she has suffered from a stroke. Her brain is bruised and has a lot of pressure, that is the most likely cause for her state. Oakley is still in the hospital, on a breathing tube being closely watched, while we wait for her to wake up. The doctors don't expect her to make a full recovery, but we are praying for a miracle for our sweet girl.

While Bailey and Zach wait, they have medical bills stacking up like crazy, from the ambulance to the helicopter, to the amazing care they are getting at the hospital, and not to mention the recovery we are all hoping for that will also be expensive.

On top of that, this sweet family lives in Eagle, and is staying here with family while they navigate all this and are just getting ready to close on their new house. Zach and Bailey just moved their sweet family to Colorado in May, where Zach started a new job at the Vail airport. Zach has had to miss work, and is unsure how much paid time off he can get with this new job. They have been excited to finally own a house of their own, and have been renting since the move, and are scheduled to close by the end of December.
