Help the family of Ahmad to leave GAZA

My name is Ahmed Al-Balaawi from Gaza (Palestine). I write this appeal with deep contemplation. I strongly request your generous support to facilitate the evacuation of my family of 7 members. My father and mother have a chronic illness and I am unable to support them - from the difficult conditions in Gaza. Their access to water, food, medicine, and basic hygiene is hanging by a thin thread, entangled in the web of war and the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip. I also had a project to sell clothes, but unfortunately everything was burned and I lost an amount worth 15,000 thousand. I suffered and was displaced in more than one place due to the severity of the bombing.

I have avoided death many times as a result of brutal indiscriminate bombing by the occupation, but so far I cling to the glimmer of hope of surviving the acronym “War of Survival.” The decision to demand their evacuation is painful, because it stems from the unbearable reality that survival has become untenable.

I often remember my beautiful life before October 7, my beautiful, warm home, the security I felt in it, and my work that was burned and demolished. I hoped to settle down and build a family and get married because I have reached 28 years of age and to be one of the most influential, successful and advanced people. And all of that was in vain. I left with the ruins of my home, and there was no other way for me but to emigrate. I beg. Here to help, not only for my family but for the weak hope that still exists in this devastated land.

For the future and dreams of an unknown fate.

We in northern Gaza suffer from death many times in various aspects of life.... There is no need for water at all and no need for flour to eat, so we learn anything and try to grind it to satisfy our hunger, such as wheat, barley, corn, and wheat!!! They will not die by bombing or killing. We will die of hunger and thirst. Therefore, we all cross the Rafah border between Gaza and Egypt and ensure the safety of our family.

We urgently need to be included in the crossing list, which requires paying a lot of fees. However, coordinators in Egypt collectively charge between $5,000 and more individually for this permit, and insist on proof of funds before adding our names.

As a member of the judiciary, his responsibilities are heavy on a large number because he and I chose to help as much as we can and he cannot bear the idea of ​​doing anything for them while I am powerless to help them.
