Hey everyone, Kevin from North Center Brewing here. During these unprecedented times, we have had to pivot the business in several directions in a short period of time and try to make the best of a terrible situation.
NCB has been a part of the Northville community for almost 5 years and there would not be any chance of making it to this point without the excellent staff and service that has made us what we are today.
The COVID-19 pandemic has hit us, just like everyone else, and some of those great staff members are taking the brunt of this. In these uncertain and unprecedented times, finances become something that everyone is concerned about, and with having to shut down our dine-in services, some of the NCB family has had to face these challenges head on. We do not know how long this shutdown will last and while the ability to make money for some of the NCB family has stopped, their need to pay bills has not.
So I am starting this campaign to help ease that burden for our NCB family that are not making money that they would usually rely on at this time. This fund will distribute donations received evenly to those that cannot work during these uncertain times. This campaign includes the front of the house staff (bartenders and barbacks) while we continue to employ the kitchen and brewing staff via the carry-out and delivery sales. At the conclusion of the campaign, NCB will donate 10% of money raised to the cause as well.
It's not an easy task to ask for financial assistance in a time when finances are uncertain, so anything that can be given will be well received with the biggest heart felt thank you that we can possibly give. We view this as another option for those that cannot or choose not to get carry-out or delivery but would still like to support the NCB family. We look forward to when we can toast a pint, share a story, play some shuffleboard, listen to some live tunes, or just say hello to you guys. We love you all and thank you for getting us where we are today.
