Amidst escalating climate change, we face a sobering reality: Our planet's delicate balance is disrupted, ecosystems are unraveling, and extreme weather events threaten the very existence of future generations. But what can we do to address this crisis?
A small and passionate team in Geneva, Switzerland took on the mission to come up with a solution and this is how The Earth Prize* was born - a $200,000 annual global environmental sustainability competition for teenage students.
Our mission is simple: to empower youth to design and implement their own solutions to drive sustainable change.
For the past two years, our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to inspire teenage students around the globe to take part in The Earth Prize competition. We have enrolled over 1,500 schools in 144 countries and territories, fostering positivity and providing impactful educational opportunities. The Earth Prize is not just a concept or a dream. It is a source of practical solutions to environmental problems, many of which are innovative, scalable, and commercially viable.
But our journey has only just begun. We aspire to bring The Earth Prize competition to students in all 193 countries and states, building a network of empowered young individuals who will shape the course of our planet's future.
This is where we need your support. We cannot achieve this ambitious objective alone.
Our goal is to raise CHF 100,000, which will help towards funding the prize money for The Earth Prize competition. To further increase the impact of this campaign, our founder, Peter McGarry, will match every Swiss franc donated.
Your help will not only fund The Earth Prize competition; it will help cultivate a global community of passionate environmental change-makers.
Thank you for your support!
