Help the Chau Family rebuild their home

As I write this today, my entire family is still in shock. On July 4, 2021, our family home in Oakland suffered a devastating fire that started from the use of illegal fireworks in the neighborhood. The fireworks landed on our rooftop and ignited our home. The fire quickly spread through the house causing massive damage to our home and belongings. We are VERY grateful that we escaped with our lives and our memories. However, our home where we have lived for almost three decades has been severely damaged.

I am starting this fund and asking the community to assist us through this tragedy by easing the financial burden we will incur as a result of this tragic situation. The funds raised will be used to purchase basic needs for my parents and younger sister including food, clothing, and furniture, and to help us begin the long process of rebuilding our home. Although we have lost so much, we continue to hold on to hope that we will get through this terrible tragedy. Thank you very much for your compassion and generosity. God Bless You.
