Help the Bolgai Family Honor Deng’s Memory

Dear friends and family,

On December 31, 2024, we lost our beloved father, brother, and friend, Professor Deng Benjamin Bolgai, unexpectedly. We are devastated by this sudden loss. During this difficult time, we are reaching out to our community for support as we handle the unexpected funeral expenses.

We are raising funds to help the Bolgai family cope with this tragedy. The financial burden of funeral arrangements and travel expenses for family members is especially challenging during this emotional time. Our goal is to alleviate their financial stress so they can focus on healing and celebrating his life.

Deng is survived by his wife, Awein Manyok, and their children: Bol, Lulu, Rebecca, Apio, Manuella, and Theyong. He was a respected educator, activist in the Sudanese Peoples Liberation Movement (SPLM) and leader in the MN Sudanese Community.
