Hi everyone,

We are asking the community for the support for a family of five who tragically lost everything in a fire at the Chesapeake Beach Fishing Creek Apartments in the early morning on Monday November 17th. Parents Jake and Makala, along with their three young girls—ages 7, 4, and 2—are now starting from nothing after their home and belongings were destroyed.

This has been an unimaginable loss, and they are doing their best to rebuild their lives and create stability again for their children. Any amount you can donate will make a meaningful difference as they work to recover essentials, find housing, and get back on their feet.
