Help Me Get Teung Out Of The Mud For Her Recovery
Spende geschützt
Good day everyone! Many of you know me as Highly Combustible Reacts on YouTube, but today I'm simply coming to you as Paul. What you may or may not know is that over the last year or so, I have been trying (little by little) to have a house built in Thailand.
First things first, I'll start the story off by letting you know up front, the house is not for me. My significant other grew up in Buriram, Thailand, where she lived in a wooden house that was built by her father (who passed away many years ago). After 30+ years, the house suddenly began shifting on its support beams and soon became too dangerous to live in.
The house was demolished, and Teung, the mother of my significant other, was displaced into a small hut with a dirt floor that was built out of the remnants and scraps of the old house.
So, we decided to slowly build a new home for her, and little by little, I have been sending whatever finances I could for materials. The house is being built by family members who are in the construction business, using whatever materials I can get for them.
All of this was working out great until a few months ago when we got the message that Teung had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Learning this, we knew that we needed to get her house built as soon as possible. So I drained what little savings I had to try to get everything done as quickly as possible. Teung has since had surgery to remove the cancer in her breast and is actively going through chemotherapy. The family has been working tirelessly building the new home, and we have made some great progress towards a better and more comfortable place for Teung to recover.
We would not be as far along as we are now without the help of some good friends that have pitched in along the way (you know who you are). That being said, we still have a little ways to go before the house can become a home. I completely understand that things are hard out there and not everyone will be able to assist. Even if you aren't able to donate personally, I would ask that you share this GoFundMe on your social media or in messages and help me help Teung out of the mud and on the road to a comfortable recovery.
Thank you in advance for any and all help! I truly appreciate you all more than words can say!
