Help Teri Lynn Fight Stage 4 Cancer and Fulfill Her Dreams

Our dear friend and colleague, Teri Lynn, recently received an unexpected diagnosis- stage 4 lung cancer. While this news has been shocking and deeply emotional to her and her family, Teri Lynn is facing it with incredible strength and determination. She had surgery last week and is moving forward with the treatment options available to her and may begin chemo by the end of the month. As of now the doctors have given Teri Lynn a prognosis of about 2 years but will explore more at the end of the month.
Teri Lynn is fiercely determined and carries a heart full of love. She faces this challenge with remarkable courage, saying she isn't afraid of death- this isn't the first time she has stood at its doorstep.
On July 13th 2020 Terri Lynn was in a near death experience "I was riding my motorcycle when a car swerved into my lane. I launched 40 feet off my motorcycle (Scarlet ;), crushing my bike and body. The impact collapsed my lung and lacerated my liver, spleen, and adrenal gland. It broke 21 bones, blew an artery that almost killed me on site, shattered my wrist “like sawdust,” cracked my helmet in half, and left me with a brachial plexus injury. I endured five surgeries, a second brush with death (a mistake left me drowning in my own blood for 9 hours), and three weeks in ICU."
"It’s taken three years to recover my ability to work, live and function. The brachial plexus injury permanently paralyzed my left arm (my broken ‘wing’), and I lost the ability to do most of the cool things that defined who I was." (To read more, please go to terilynnwilkins.com)
In true Teri Lynn fashion, she isn't asking for anything from her coworkers-only their love and support. However, we want to help in any way we can. This includes easing the burden of monthly expenses and medical costs, allowing her to focus on what truly matters- her health, her family and making the most of every moment.
Those who know her are not surprised by her unwavering spirit- focusing on joy rather than fear, Teri Lynn is embracing a lifelong dream. As she beautifully puts it, she is "fulfilling my youngest sons deepest wish” by traveling to Maui as a family, while she still feels well enough to do so.
As Teri Lynn embarks on this journey, we are by her side every step of the way, ready to fight alongside her. Our hope is to give her the freedom to focus on what truly matters- her health, fulfilling lifelong dreams, and cherishing precious moments with her family- without the weight of financial burdens holding her back.
