Help Teresa Recuperate

As many of you know, Teresa lost Dave to his battle with liver cancer last week. The last few weeks were agonizing as Teresa watched Dave quickly take a dramatic turn as the cancer unknowing spread quickly to other organs as well as completely take over his liver. Dave was in and out of the VA hospital as well as other emergency rooms for several weeks. Teresa spent many hours caring for Dave not only at home but navigating through the many doctor and hospital visits. She wouldn’t have done anything else besides give him the best care she could through his illness. All of us who know her recognize her giving spirit, know she did all she could do to help Dave. Even before Dave became ill he wasn’t able to secure employment for almost 6 months. Finances became tight as Teresa was the only source of income for the both of them. During Dave's illness, Teresa tried very hard to balance work as well as caring for him. She wasn’t able to work her normal hours (which are many) in order to care for Dave. The financial burden they were both under was put on Teresa. She became responsible for paying most of their monthly expenses which placed a huge financial burden on her. She struggled to make ends meet but she knew she had to make sure Dave had a home to return to. Teresa is now left not only with the loss of someone she loved so deeply but without much to her name. The home they lived in will soon be taken back by the bank since it is not in Teresa’s name. Teresa gave all of her furniture away when she and Dave moved into their new home. She has no furniture as well as no home very soon. We ALL have been given so much by Teresa. All of her family, friends and clients. She has given shelter, food, clothing, products as well as free services many times…. Teresa’s life has not been an easy one. Despite all of the adversity and difficult times, she continues to serve and give with a grateful attitude. Let's show Teresa how much she means to us and how appreciative we are to her for all she has done for us by providing for her recovery. Teresa needs to have time to mourn the death of her loved without the added stress of where to go next. I and her close friends and family will be so blessed by helping Teresa!
