Help Taryn and the kids to support Mat's healing

By now, many have likely heard that Mat Storring had an accident last Friday evening, Sept. 22 (not work related) — he fainted and sustained a significant head injury. It's believed he fainted because of low blood sugar.

He’s currently at RVH, receiving great care from the ICU team. At this point, it’s not clear the extent of the injury's impact on Mat or how long his recovery might be. The priorities for Taryn right now are to be by Mat’s side, support her kids, and take care of herself.

As she’s self-employed, she won’t have any income during this time. We don’t want Taryn to worry about money or for this situation to cause financial challenges for them going forward.

We’ve set up this GoFundMe to generate funds so that finances aren’t a source of stress for the family. The community, friends and family have come together to support Taryn, Mat, and the kids in many ways — and Taryn is incredibly grateful.
