Taj Cleveland is facing the toughest battle of his life. Recently diagnosed with Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkin's Lymphoma variant C, Taj is about to begin an aggressive journey through chemotherapy in hopes of beating this devastating disease.
Last year, Taj became concerned with a growing lump on his neck. After a few visits to the doctor and no bad results, he and his family assumed it was nothing serious. After a few months, a few concerns popped up when he was experiencing extreme back pain and fatigue. They went back to the doctor once more, and that's when the results came in, he had cancer. He originally was sent to Children's Hospital in Los Angeles to complete a pet scan and come up with a course of treatment. Due to his rare variant C pattern, his cancer has a 1 in 5 chance of transforming into a more aggressive disease. The decision was made to transfer him to Stanford Medical Center to receive treatment from experts with this variant.
Anyone who knows Taj knows that he is an extremely hard worker. He weed-whacks, mows lawns, and does any random jobs given to him to pay for what he loves most. The money he makes goes straight into project cars. Without being able to work due to his diagnosis, he is not making the money he needs to afford restoring these cars.
With the diagnosis came a call from a gentleman who owns the car that Taj has been trying to buy for the last few years. He was given an unbelievable deal and is going to pick up the car soon. With his chemo starting next week, he won't be able to go out and make the money to be able to get the parts and materials to restore this car. This project is giving him motivation to fight the cancer and all donations are going to be for buying everything needed for the restoration.
Taj has always been a fighter, but he doesn’t have to fight alone. Your generosity, prayers, and support mean more than words can express. Together, we can give Taj the strength and resources he needs to win this battle.
Please consider donating and sharing Taj’s story. Every bit of support brings him one step closer to accomplishing his dreams.
