Help Svetlana Stay With Her Daughters and Husband — In Her Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer.
Svetlana Narančić is only 32. A vibrant, loving mum to two beautiful girls—Sara (7) and Tara (5)—and a devoted wife to her husband, Danijel. Just months ago, their lives were full of laughter, love, and plans for the future.
Everything changed in December 2024.
Svetlana discovered a lump in her abdomen. After a whirlwind of tests and devastating consultations, the diagnosis came: Stage 4 gastric cancer, one of the most aggressive and difficult cancers to treat. It had already spread to her ovaries. Doctors told her it was inoperable and there was no cure—only palliative care.
However, Svetlana and Danijel refused to accept that.
In March, they found a private surgeon willing to perform major debulking surgery, which cost tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket, and collected tumour tissue for a personalised experimental cancer vaccine—a lifeline when there were no other options.
For a while, there was hope. In June 2025, Svetlana’s condition worsened. Severe fluid build-up in her abdomen—ascites—returned with force. Now, she undergoes painful fluid drainage procedures every few weeks, removing up to 10 litres at a time just to breathe, eat, and survive.
Danijel has left work, since the beginning of 2025, to care for his wife full-time. They’re pursuing every possible option—vitamin C infusions, red light therapy, energy healing—anything to give Svetlana more time with her family. But the cost is overwhelming, and time is not on their side.
Sara and Tara just want their mum back. To play. To cuddle. To hear her laugh again.
