Help Susan fight rare Uterine Cancer

Hello,

I'm Susan Kirsch's Mom, Connie. I am starting this go fund me fundraiser to help my daughter get through a very trying time in her life.

For the past few years Susan has been dealing with many trips to the gynecologist for female related issues. After many unsuccessful attempts, missed diagnoses, medications, etc..she ended up in the emergency room. After the 3rd visit in 3 days a wonderful gynecology doctor on call discovered a tumor in her uterus the size of an orange. Immediately she was scheduled for emergency surgery also a blood transfusion for being severely anemic.

We were hopeful the surgery took care of all the issues! The tumor was sent to U of M to be to analyzed. The report was our worst nightmare. The tumor was an extremely rare sarcoma.

Susan was then refered to The Lacks Cancer Center.

Dr. Whicker is her wonderful Cancer Gynecologist, she immediately scheduled a complete hysterectomy.

The surgery was successful, but, since this type of sarcoma is so rare, she now has to endure chemotherapy . A four to nine month regimen. Every 3 weeks she will be hospitalized for 3 days.

With this vigorous regimen we are praying that the cancer will not come back and spread.

As you can see the last three to four months have been impossible for her to work. Her father recently passed away as well which has been hard on our family.

The bills are piling up, she has 3 precious boys that rely on her solely. Prior to this diagnosis she transferred to a new management position with a new company, she had not been there long enough to qualify for FMLA or any benefits.

If you can help to give some financial relief to her, that would be a tremendous relief! She is constantly worried about how she is going to get thru all of this!
