I am writing to make an appeal on behalf of a wonderful couple, Roxane and Tony Telesha, who attend Oasis Church where I am the Pastor. Let me start off by expressing my personal appreciation for the recent gifts to Roxane and Tony. As some of you may already know, the Teleshas have been in a tough season of physical and financial woes this year. They are a two-income household and Roxane is still recovering from an invasive surgery with several more months of recovery before she can return to her counseling practice. I made my initial appeal for help on their behalf during worship services in June requesting assistance to help pay for past-due rent. I'm convinced that alleviating stress of financial obligations has helped both Roxane and Tony rest their bodies, ease their minds, and be present for each other. Having received a voicemail message from Roxane, I can testify of their gratitude and the blessing these gifts are to them, their family, and their friends.
If you hadn't had an opportunity to help, if you will, take a moment and inquire to God about how you can be a blessing to the Telesha family. First, I ask that you pray for them, for Roxane's recovery, for the well-being and success of their clients, and for quality time shared between Tony and Roxane. Second, financial gifts received at the Oasis Church office for the Teleshas will be used toward their rent and utility bills and all money raised through this GoFundMe campaign. There is also a MealTrain schedule set-up for them if you have an interest in using your gifts of hospitality.
