Help Support Rebuilding Luke’s greenhouse

Luke started his greenhouse business last year with so much support from family and friends. He wants to be a farmer and support his community when he grows up.

 In January he started planting for this years greenhouse. He had planned for garden vegetables, flowers and even trees this year. With many already started he was prepared for an even bigger year this spring.

 Earlier this week we had terrible wind gusts causing the greenhouse to pull away from the ground anchors. Upon coming home from school Luke was devastated to find his small business completely destroyed beyond repair.

 As a parent it is heartbreaking to see something your child has worked so hard on just be taken away so quickly.

 I was conflicted on doing one of these as we don’t ask for handouts. We are completely shocked at people reaching out that want to help our son carry this dream on into this year by donating for a new greenhouse. Luke does this because he loves it.

A goal of his this year is to raise enough produce in his gardens to donate to families in need and give to our local restaurants for farm to table for better nutrition.

 We can not thank our friends and family enough for always being there for us. Anything raised over his goal will be put towards his efforts of giving back to families in the community to ensure everyone can have a garden at a cost affordable to them.
