Help Support Our Family During Our Daughter’s Heart Surgery

Hi everyone,

Our sweet daughter, Nova, will be undergoing heart surgery on February 18th, and as you can imagine, this is a very emotional and challenging time for our family. Nova has already been through so much in her young life, from being born at 28 weeks weighing only 2lbs, to spending 3 months in the NICU where we found out she has a hole In her heart, and now she faces this next big hurdle with so much bravery. She’s been seeing a cardiologist regularly where they initially said she might not need the surgery, but as of now that is no longer a possibility. As a mom hearing the words open heart surgery for such a little baby is terrifying.

To be there for her every step of the way, as nova will be in the hospital for at-least 5 days, and then on sternum precautions for 2 months. My boyfriend Tanner will need to take time off work to support both her and me during recovery. We’re setting up this GoFundMe to help cover essential expenses while he’s out of work, allowing us to focus fully on our daughter’s health and recovery without the added stress of financial strain.
