Help for Joe

Hello, I’m going to start this story by telling you about my dog named Joe. He is a 3 year old chocolate lab but gets mistaken as being younger due to his small size (around 65-70 lbs) but don’t let that fool you, his heart holds so much love anyone who has met Joe knows him as the sweetest boy. He has brought so much joy into our lives that the possibility of him being taken from this world is beyond imaginable. However, this was our reality this past Father’s Day when we found out Joe had been hit by a car. The most amazing human had finished their shift at work and saw our sweet boy on their way home and decided they had to help him. Because of this person’s actions we were able to find Joe and get him the medical treatment he required. Unfortunately Joe is still not out of the woods and will require more medical treatments and care, this is why I am sharing Joe’s story. We have been able to cover his medical bills so far but are worried because he now needs to be taken to Portland to stop internal bleeding we might not have enough. Costs are unknown currently but the vet has informed us the range would be close to $6,000. We have paid $5,000 already and that might seem crazy to some to spend that on a dog but Joe is worth it. Any help during this time is greatly appreciated, we have started this fund to help Joe have the best chance of recovery and I believe with your help we can make it happen.
