Last month, in November 2019 Casey and Enjay and their family were given the most heartbreaking news that their 4-month old Baby has been diagnosed with Cancer.
Baby Mason has Rhabdomyosarcoma, which is an aggressive and highly malignant form of cancer that develops from skeletal muscle cells that have failed to fully differentiate. :(
To be given the best opportunity possible - Baby Mason is being treated at Perth Children's hospital and the first Dr's estimate is that they will endure 42 weeks of chemotherapy.
At this stage they have a long road ahead of them - you can follow their personal Journey at Casey O Anaru's facebook page as she shares their journey.
Casey is an incredible mum of 4, works online around her kids where she can.. and Enjay is a full-time prison officer with only a certain amount of leave available at this stage to use.
They are 2 of the most generous and giving people we know.
The hardest thing is this - Casey, Enjay and their family all live in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia which is 7 hours from the hospital where Mason will be being treated on a permanent basis for the better part of the next year.
Thankfully they have the full support of the Ronald McDonald House in Nedlands to accommodate them and help with meals for their stay in Perth, but they still have a lot to take care of back at home too.
In order for Casey and Enjay to be fully present it will mean a lot of time focussing on Baby Mason first, and consequently work and bills second.
The intention of this fundraiser is to help support this beautiful family with as little or as much as you can, to allow Enjay and Casey to take as much time as they need off work and have them never be stressed about bills or worry across this harrowing time.

Please know that you will see from time to time that the target for donations increases as we reach each milestone.
It is estimated for every -$5-10,000 we reach, this gives Enjay and Casey another 'month off work's worth of income' in which they can use it over the next year as needed to be fully available for Mason :)
